Flying Safari 8 Days: Nairobi | Samburu | Maasai Mara
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Meet and greet at the airport by one of our representative after short briefing you will be transferred to your city hotel check in freshen up followed by relaxation dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
After breakfast our driver will pick you up from your hotel, for a quick trip to Wilson Airport, and for 8:30 am flight which takes 90-minute to Samburu Park. From the air, take in the fields and homesteads and look for the imposing form of Mt. Kenya, the country’s tallest peak. you’ll lightly touch down at a convenient airstrip where your safari guide will greet you and load up your bags into a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep for the quick ride to the park.

DAY 3: SAMBURU FULL DAY
Rise up early to enjoy the soft morning light bringing the park to life. You will be looking forward to a full day of game drives so talk with your driver/guide about how you’d like to plan your time. You can stay out in the field all day or come back to your accommodation for a little downtime to rest. The choice is yours.
You will be tracking for elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and all the other big game that fill this big park. But Samburu is also known for its collection of rare and unusual species like the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, and Beisa oryx.
Explore outside the park at the nearby Shaba and Buffalo Springs Reserves to take in their green fields for a different kind of game drive.

DAY 4: SAMBURU TO MAASAI MARA
After breakfast at our accommodation, you will head back to the airstrip for our 10:30 am flight to the Masai Mara. We’ll say goodbye to our guide, upon arrival our Safaris driver guide will be waiting for you when you touch down near the Masai Mara.
Your 90-minute flight will take us over a great stretch of the country and you should see mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance.
Touching down, your new driver/guide will greet you with our second 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. It’s a quick ride to the park and get settled and enjoy lunch at your new Mara accommodation.

DAY 5: MASAAI MARA FULL DAY.
You will wake up to an early morning game drive. You will then head back to the camp for breakfast. The Masai Mara is famous for its amazing wildlife, which includes the big five, as well as its annual wildebeest migration. After that, you'll have a leisurely morning, lunch, and then a game drive in the afternoon. You can also take part in some of the camp activities, like naming ceremonies or an optional visit to Masai villages, walking safaris, traditional dances and other activities at an additional fee.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA FULL DAY
Another full day to explore the Park. One of the most exciting areas of the Masai Mara to explore is down at the Mara River, site of the animal crossing during the season of the Great Migration, from July through October.
Here you’ll witness thousands of wildebeests, gazelles, zebra, topi, and more just swarming across the river into the park on their annual journey following the availability of taller grasses more food. For a different kind of safari moment, enjoy an optional visit to a local village. There you’ll meet the Maasai people living as they have for centuries in their pastoral lifestyle. Learn about their lives, culture, and dramatic ceremonies.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
On this day after breakfast, check out followed by transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airstrip Nairobi, followed by transfer to your city hotel, freshen up before proceeding for dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, this world-famous restaurant featuring nyama choma (roasted meat) cuisine. Sample traditional favorites and a few unexpected ones

DAY 8: DEPARTURE
Early breakfast check out and your hotel and you will be dropped to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your onward flight back home.
